Behind the Gears: The TRI-R Story
In 1993 Ron R. Rowe started TRI-R Power Products (hence the name TRI-R, 3 “R’s”) with the intention of specializing in the Oriental Motor product line. This proved to be an overwhelming success. We are now the largest distributor of Oriental Motor in Canada and one of the largest distributors in North America. Sadly, Ron passed away on June 12th, 2009, we sure miss his wit, his friendship, sense of humor and above all, his fantastic knowledge, we miss him!
In 2005 we purchased TRI-R Power Products and we have continued to specialize in the Oriental Motor product line, we have also added product lines to compliment the Oriental Motor products.
Since we concentrate our efforts on Oriental Motor, we are the experts, our OEM’s rely on this expert knowledge and we strive to provide the best cost effective solutions for their automation applications.

Oriental Motor Space-Saving Conveyor Drive
Oriental Motor offers compact and space-saving drives for conveyor applications. AC motors with parallel shaft gears or right-angle gears with various gear ratios are available.
Oriental Motor RKII Series Synchronous Operation
RKII Series is a high-efficiency stepper motor and driver package with 0.72° step angle from Oriental Motor.
The video demonstrates the synchronous operation of two RKII stepper motors. Both motor shafts rotate a plate with mounted pencil tips. Between each opposite pencil tip pair you can see a thin pencil lead – it doesn’t break even during high-speed operation.
